Visiting professor to present talk on Infrared Antennas

Professor Glenn Boreman from the University of Central Florida College of Optics and Photonics will present a lecture on Infrared Antennas on Friday, Jan. 18. The lecture will be held in Thomas and Brown Hall room 304 from 2 to 3 pm and all students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Boreman received a bachelor’s of science degree in optics from the University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in optical sciences from the University of Arizona. Since 1984, he has been on the faculty of the University of Central Florida. Boreman served six years as editor-in-chief of Applied Optics and is a past member of the Society of Photographic Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE) board of Directors.  He is a fellow of the Optical Society of America and of SPIE.
