In Memoriam: Joe T. Budenholzer
Joe T. Budenholzer died at the age of 88 in Omaha, Neb. Joe was a NMSU mechanical engineering graduate and a long-time supporter of the college.
Joe is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Jo (Raynor) Budenholzer. He is also survived by their two sons, Thomas G. Budenholzer and his wife, Patrice, of Union, Neb., and Joseph V. Budenholzer, of New York City, N.Y., daughter, Geri Budenholzer, of Santa Fe, N.M.; three brothers, Robert Budenholzer and wife Annette, of Saledad, Calif., John Budenholzer, of St. Louis, Mo., Vincent Budenholzer and wife Libby, of Holbrook, Ariz.; his sister, Virginia Balmanno and her husband, Bill, of California; two grandchildren, Jesse and Stacey Budenholzer; great-grandson, Kevin Watson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the First Friday Club of Omaha and contributed generously to the Mechanical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering at New Mexico State University.
Visitation begins Thursday at 2 p.m., with the wake service to follow at 7 p.m. at West Center Chapel. The funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the mortuary to Holy Cross Church at 10 a.m. The interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Masses or to Holy Cross Educational Fund.
