Cooperative Education and Internships

Learn at work

We have created partnerships with industry to offer cooperative education programs, internships and summer programs that give you hands-on, career-related work experience while you earn money for school. Internships and summer programs last from six weeks to six months. Co-ops usually alternate between six months of work and six months of school. These work experiences give you valuable contacts with future employers and complement your classroom learning.

We encourage everyone to contact The Office of Career Services at www.careerservices.nmsu.edu for more information on their student employment opportunities. Be sure to include a summer internship or co-op assignment as a part of your engineering college experience.
